Question about Trilian and Outlook Express

I just switched to outlook express after using hotmail for about a year, and was wondering, when i click on the icon that represents msn, then I click on the 'Check Hotmail' option, it takes me to hotmail.com. I was wondering if instead of checking hotmail, it would direct me to my outlook program instead? I go into prefs, then msn, then I get host: messenger.hotmail.com with port number 1863.

Is there anyway of acomplishing this?

put an icon on your desktop, or quicklaunch for outlook... just as easy

Yeah, I guess I can do that, but I don't like lots of stuff on my desktop or quick bar. Got enough stuff as it is. But if worst comes to worst, i'll take your advice
