Question about transferring Origin to new HDD

I'm reloading the OS on my C drive this weekend and have a question about Origin...

My Origin game files are on my D drive... will I need to do anything other than reinstall Origin on the new C drive OS install, or is there a better way to do this?

In theory you are on the right track and might work exactly as you describe. Personally I would take an extra step. I would rename your original Origin game file directory. Reinstall Origin and initiate a download for a game (so that it creates the directories). Stop the download and shut down Origin, then copy the game files from the original directory to the new location. Then it should be a matter of using the repair install feature and you should be back in action.

Please share your experience and let us know how it goes.
