If Iam downloading on torrent, what if my up speed is higher than my download speed. Should I set a limit, and if i do set a limit will my dl speed lower>

It all depends on the seeder to leecher ratio, and right now your a seeder because there arent that many available with the full file, so you are seeding what you have of the file until more seeders come.

I tried to explain that.

You're only a seeder if you have the full file (100% downloaded) and are still sharing, AFAIK.

<Lex Luthor> WRONG </Lex Luthor>

He is NOT a seeder until he has 100% of the file downloaded.

Limit your upload speed to 50-75% of your maximum upload capacity.

It always seems that I upload twice what I download, I guess some people must just have hacked clients that don't require them to upload any, and they just screw it for the rest of us. It really sux since my download limit is twice the upload limit, but since I have to upload twice what I download I end up only getting 1/4 the download that I should. Oh well, 2Gb a day is still pretty good I guess.

If the torrent has plenty of seeders and your client, firewall, and router are properly configured then you should get very nice download speeds

What client are you using?

Bit Torrent has many legitmate uses. Linux, independent music. I've downloaded pictures from Nasa via bittorrent. Many legit uses.
