Question about tints on a car.

Legally here in quebec the darkest we can go is 30% for the front dirver and passanger windows.

I'm wondering if 30% is pretty dark or not.

I was thinking of doing 30 in the front, 30 in the rear and 25 on the back window. Or go a little on the illegal side, and go 25, 25, 20. Is 5% that much of a difference?

30's pretty dark, but yeah, most places will have samples. I think I'm going to do 30 all the way around, except for the windshield...can't have drivers or passengers tinted in MI, but we'll see.

tinting places usually have samples... visit them

Getting my car tomorrow, and getting the tints done from the dealer.

They had no samples and no time to visit them. Or else i would have.

tough call, I have 35% all around, it's too light IMO during the day, but at the same time, it's a hair darker than I would like at night.

I think I'll go 25, 25, and 20 in the rear. I don't think the cops will give me any troubles for 5%. Plus the dealer is doing it for me (making me sign a sheet though that I'm aware 25% is not legal.)...

Oh I bought a 2005 Accord EX-V6 sedan today.. WOoot Woot! Getting tomorrow or friday. Can't wait.

when you mean 30% . . . is it 30% of the sunlight can get into the car?

yeah thats how they messure it. So the less percentage, the darker it is.
