Can this board run DDR2 800? The FSB is rated @ DDR2 1066/1333, but will it downclock to DDR2 800? I was reccomended to go with the 800 because it's cheaper and I can get 8gbs of 800 for the price of 4gbs of 1066. Is 1066 worth the price? I'm ordering my new rig before Christmas, I don't want to spend a lot but if there's a better mobo out there for 50 - 60 more bucks then I'll go with that. I chose this one because Gigabytes reviews are rock solid and this one is the revision 2 and this will be my first build so I'm hoping to keep my number of BSOD's low. Any and all reccomendations are greatly appreciated. I won't be doing anything crazy. I'll be getting a Q6600 and after a while oc it to 3.2 and leave it. I'm not much of a tweaker so I don't think a Striker Extreme or Asus Maximus is anything I'll be needing. But any and all recommendations that offer substantial performance/stabillity/durabillity gains for 50 bucks is worth it my eyes. You get what you pay for. Thanks all.
 
Quality JEDEC 1.8V DDR2 800 should run well from 200 to 400MHz @ 4-4-4-12-2T. You should also be able to hit +450MHz/4-4-4-12-2T with 2.0 to 2.1Vdimm.
