On the case in the pictures below, the CD drive looks like its not their, its hidden sort of (just look at the picture I can't describe it very well). What I would like to know is if this is a special CD drive or if this is some sort of kit you can buy for this case and adapt to any CD drive, or maybe its just something this guy figured out how to do to his case. Also, how does the CD drive open? Do you have to always open through windows? (right click, eject sort of thing?) Or is one of those switchs at the top for opening the CD? Does anyone have and infomation about this mod, or links? Also the 3 1/2 drive have a handle the pulls off, any info or links on them either? I really like this setup. Thanks in advance. BTW: I just found these pictures on the internet. Don't know whos they are or anything.

That's Drool-Boy's case, one of the moderators at the Hard OCP forums. The link to his post on it is here. The drives open through windows.

Yep, thats where I got the pictures from, happen to come across that post. Any info on the mod? My next step is just posting over there, but I figured I'd start here.

Damn thats a cool case!!!!

Looks like he has fixed the empty bay covers to the front of the CD-ROM somehow. Shouldn't be all that hard with a dremel tool and some tin snips. Wonder how you affix it so that you can get it off later when your CD-ROM inevitably goes belly up.

Mount the CD-ROM drive a little farther back than you would usually, cut the sides off the case bezel, adhere to slide out tray. Fairly simple and it looks pretty cool.
