Well I'm sure many of you guys know of this dog that I just got from my friend.
He was an OBVIOUS mess when I got him...
I gave him a bath but he was still dirty... his fur was all tangled and whatnot... so I took him to the groomer yesterday and they did a wonderful job.
HOwever I noticed that his neck had ABSOLUTELY no hair... I think they shaved it off.. or hopefully they didn't start combing at it and rip off the tangled fur...
In anycase, the entire neck area is hairless... much like some of those TOY POODLES you see at dog shows... his fur is healthy everywhere else....
My conclusion is that the groomer shaved it ALL off so that it can grow back w/o tangles (the dog is a year old)
Is there any precautions that I can take? I do'nt want this to be like an infection or something... I want the hair to grow back.
ANything that I can do on a tight BUDGET to make sure that this dog's fur will grow back where there ISN'T fur now?
Thanks
