Question about this auction

Am I missing something?
How can this person sell this Hayabusa for under $3000?
Busa
I see that you have to be pre-approved to bid, but what's up with that?

The guy has decent feedback..but a lot of his purchases (and his username..heh) has to do with barbie..weeiird. Maybe he won it and a sweepstakes and it isn't feminine enough for him?

All I know is you got me interested in it now.

Looks like a hijacked account. All the other sales I checked (didn't check many) are for Barbies and Barbie clothes.

Good call on the hijacked account, I never even thought of that even though I just had it happen to a friend.

I asked some people on the ebay chat room and they sent me this link:
scam
looks like a scam. i guess it's like what they always say..."if it's too good to be true...."

Agreed, and at the risk of sounding rude, someone who traffics in Barbie items is probably the kind of person that could eaily fall for a phishing attempt for username/password.

A couple of weeks ago there was a dozen or so 2004+ Yamaha R1 auctions... all the bikes were for under $3,500. It was either a scam, or all of em were stolen.
