You know, I have been to the North quite a bit in my travels and it always amazes me how many people up there can't enunciate simple words of the English language without sounding like complete low class morons. Hmm....I guess having idiots in any population is a universal reality.
 
it is just a stereotype, there are smart and dumb and people with good and bad english skills in the SouthEast just like any other part of the US and any english speaking country
