Question about the shooting that caused Tupac's (apparent) death...

CNN's article says he was shot 4 times.

Other places say he was shot 7 times.

Why are there different stories? Or did CNN just post a random number for the hell of it to add to their article?

Edit - After momentary Googling, the general consensus among the OMGZ TWOPAC IS ALIVE!!1!!!1! fansites is that someone shot him five times.

Either way, it was enough.

I don't really think he's dead and I don't really think he's alive. He's just in limbo. I don't really care about this much, I'm just curious.

I'm looking for websites that say he got hit 7 times but I'm not finding them at the moment. Although, in the song Runnin, it says he was shot 7 times.
