Question about the Series 7 exam:

you can probably take it on your own...but it's nicer when the company pays for it =)

'K, apparently for any of the exams other than the series 63, 65 and 66, you have to be sponsored by a brokerage house.

For the Series 63 and 65 you can sign a waiver. I think I'll take them next summer.

doh, where did you get the information?

I am planning to study for Series 7 as well.

Any of the exams that are run through NASD require you to be sponsored. Any of the ones that are run through NASAA can be taken with a waiver, although I think you have to pay a bit more.
