Need a couple of answers.....
Does the NV5 Revision 3 come with heatsink pads on the cooler, or do you have to
put them on yourself (as oppposed to the picture)
The reason I ask, I picked up a NV5 Revision 3 from Frozencpu, and it will NOT fit
on the BFG 7800GTX, as the heatsink to right edge of the card does not allow the cooler to make contact. Thermal pads were included, but their were only 8 small ones, and those were needed for the memory chips on the card.
By the way, this is NOT a product I would recommend, the thermal pads stickiness is HORRIBLE, and as I stated, it will not fit on the BFG 7800GTX because of the heatsink to the right of the GPU. So much for Revision 3.
Can someone confirm the thermal pads for the memory chips as being already attached to the Silencer, or if it has to be done manually, as there is not enough thermal pads for the 8 memory chips, as well as to remove the Heatsink from the right of the GPU and attach thermal pads there.....
Thank you !
