Question about the new CCNP test

Not long ago I passed CCNP switching test, and I want to take the routing test next month.
Does anyone know if the test I took previously will still be valid when the new test are released ?
Trying to get as much test done this year before the new harder test, but if all goes invalid next year, might as well wait and take the new test next year.

Just want to know if passing CCNP old exams before they are expired will count towards your CCNP certification?? Or you have to re-take the new exams when they are released next year ?

As of August 15, 2006, the required exams for achieving a CCNP certification have changed; individuals seeking CCNP certification can combine old exams with new. The last day to test for retiring exams is 12/31/06. The four required exams may be taken in any order.
