OK, in the end, they did that only because the twin sister of Marlee(sp?) was killed in a shooting and the town of them went bankrupt, right?

The worst anti-gun/anti business propaganda movie I've ever seen. I'd have shot the TV, but I was on a plane when I saw it.

I hate the way they twisted the original story and made it an anti-gun movie....bad choice if ya ask me.

Agreed. It started out ok when getting jurors but went south and became an anti-gun propaganda.
Glad I didn't pay full price at the theater to watch this crap.

How did Gene Hackman come up with the $15M? Weren't the companies only paying him $7.5M total?

it might have some anti-gun element in it but i think the main focus is how they try to twist the jury (we rented it yesterday).

it could be anything... tobacco, mcdonalds... you name it :p

The book was anti-tobacco, the producers/director took the story and intentionally turned it into a Hollywood agenda movie.
