question about the little knub on laptops

Rallispec

Lifer
i'm talking about the mouse thingy... the eraser looking thing that you use to move the mouse around..

how long do those last for you all? my laptop is a year old and today i was noticing that the little rubber thing had gotten so smooth from a years worth of use that it was hard to move the mouse around. (my finger would just slide off of it)

luckily my laptop came with spares and even more luckily, i remembered where they were. I'm back at 100% mouse-ablity again. 🙂

(and lets not turn this into a debate over this thing vs. the touchpad for mouse movement)

glad you had some spares

I also can't stand those things. I only use my touch pad when Im away from home. When Im here I just hook a mouse up to the laptop.

🙂

these things are horrible, never use them.

and they do have a name, I do at least, I call it "snípur" which is the name of the womans "knob" down below 😛
