Question about the Epox 8kta3 and Super Orb

Will the Super Orb Socket-A CPU Cooler fit on my Epox 8kta3 MOBO ??? Looks like there is room in my case but I dont know for sure ??? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Is the power supply the main issue or are there other issues with it being able to fit ??

Super orb should fit, but depending on the speed t-bird you want, the super-orb may not be able to cool your cpu adequately.

Its an amdtbird 1.2 . 512 ram It has a fan in the rear of the case and a fan in the front. Do you think this will work ??? Thanks for the help so far.

I would highly consider a more powerful heatsink at 1.2ghz. With a 66W chip, your Super-orb will approximately run your cpu core around 40-45C over ambient case temp.

For what it's worth, the Super Orb DOES fit on the 8kta3. I have it running right now on there.
