question about the Corsair 650D

can you replace the front 200mm fan with dual 120 or 140 fans ?
yes for the top fan.
But the front fan opening isn't as large as the top. The front port also doesn't have factory mounting points for 120's or 140's.
So no, twin 120's or 140's can't be installed there without DIY modifications.

thanks, that's too bad though...I'd be nice to have that option. Plus I've read a lot of people having issues with that front fan...

You could always run a single 140 or 120 in the spot where the 200 is located.
With all the other fans blowing out, you could probably remove the 200 from the from and run without any there.
The other fans would create air incoming flow over the HD cage.

What have you read about the 200mm fan? I'm considering getting this case over the R4 to replace my P180..
Are there any other issues with the case that you've heard about?

I have read that many people get the case with a defective front fan. It works fine at first but then develops a rattle. Corsair will send you a replacement fan, but it seems like a hassle that you shouldn't need to deal with for a case at that price.
