What part of town is Albert Einstein Medical School in? Is it a decent area? And how much does it cost to get decent housing (single or studio) nearby? Any new residential construction?

I went to school in the bronx and my cousin just moved there... Since I'm too lazy to do your leg work, google the school and let me know what part of the bronx it's in and we'll go from there ;)

As far as the Bronx goes, it's a pretty nice neighborhood..
Generally, the further north in the Bronx that you go, the nicer the area is.

Located near the Westchester border in the northeast Bronx, the environment around Einstein combines the best of two worlds: small-town living with its special sense of ?community?-and lower cost of living-and easy access to big city excitement in Manhattan.

Westchester = good :beer::D

Westchester is good.. Bronx is not westchester.. I don't know if you live in NYC but New York is VERY weird in that one neighborhood could be ritzy and a block away it's the ghetto (look at the Upper West Side and then Harlem - though Harlem has improved).. I'm not sure about that exact park but the neighborhoods that I've been around - Riverdale, Mott haven, etc. were very nice.. I went to a school named bronx science and the immediate surrounding area was nice but a bit south from there was pretty sketchy.. Generally speaking, North=pretty nice, South=carry mace.. Of course, I'm being simplistic.. My best advice=visit the campus yourself then decide

I've never been to Westchester, but I've heard it's like Suffolk, where I have lived. And I've also heard before that the parts of the Bronx bordering Westchester are not too bad.
