Question about the 900

I'm assuming the top portion comes off. Problem is I can't get it off. Are there screws I need to undo first or am I just not pulling hard enough. Nothing in the instruction booklet about it.

Look for screws. There are almost always screws. Also be away of pop tabs.

There are almost always clip tabs and/or screws. It just may not be very easy to locate them.

There are 2 screws just in front of the 200mm fan on the under side. Then you have 6 clips to pop out. Undo the back to first then the middle and the front will pop out on there own.

Here you can see the case bare. You can see the holes for the tabs and you can see where the 2 crew holes just in front of the fan and middle tabs.

BTW the stared out part of the link is XCPUS (in lower case). Don't know why thats getting filtered out.

On the Antec site/900 page there is a link to a mechanical drawing that shows the tab slots and screw holes. It's a shame that people would rather have others do their work for them...

Thanks mpilch. I saw the 4 back tabs but I didn't think the screws needed to be removed. Thought it was just a ground.

Zepper: I did check out the mechanical drawing but that was before I needed to get the top off. Didn't think of going back.
