question about temp. cable

i bought one of those drives that has the usb and firewire with the small temp. lcd display, but the problem is, i don't know how to get the temp to be working. i looked in the little book that came with it, it shows some kind of sensor cable that attach to your cpu, but it never came with one. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get one of those, and the correct way to put it on. Thanks
