Question about taking audio from something

I've got a demo of Source, and I really only want the audio from it. Now I have the tools necessary with Gordian Knot that I need to strip the audio and turn it into an MP3, but what program can I use to record the demo? Does Camtasia pick up the audio too? I haven't used it in a while so I can't remember.
