question about T-Mobile

i'm thinking about getting T-mobile but I already have an unlocked GSM phone will they still make me sign a contract even though thier not really giving me anything for signing one or will they let me do month to month since I already owned my own phone.

no, you have to sign up a 1 year contract. in your case, I would just get a phone with most rebate and then sell the phone.

i heard cingular will let you go with service only plan, if you already have your own phone.

unfortionatly no cingular in my area I'll prolly just go on amazon and get the phone that will net me the most money after rebate and resale. Not even sure how well Tmo will work in my area but thats why I got 20 dollar prepaid sim card to test it out for a few weeks to see if it will meet my needs ( I live in northern AZ and they show coverage and thier tower shows up on my phone but I have no idea how well it will work
