Question about Svideo

This isn't really a computer issue, but I didn't know where else to ask this question. I was just wondering what the difference in video quality is between using an RCA video out, let's say from a dvd player to a tv, vs using svideo to connect the dvd player to the tv (obviously the RGB is the best quality, but I was curious how the other two compare).

Thanks

S-Video pictures are twice or more better than normal RCA or Composite Cables. Component is better than S-Video, and then comes DVI.

Theoretically, maybe, but it's hard to say what "twice as good" means in a qualitative fashion. I've never seen night-and-day differences between RCA and S-Video (though they both look much better than RF), but component video (especially a high-def signal) is a noticeable improvement.
