Question about SUSE 9.3 FTP install

I have been doing a FTP install of Suse 9.3 for the last 4-5 days, and only have 800MB to go... bad think is we have a lightning storm going on and I am afraid I am going to lose power... If I shut the box down due to a power loss, will I lose everything, or will I be able to power back up and start where I left off...? I am on satellite, and worried about violating TOS because of size of the D/L as it is, if I have to start over, forget it...

You'll probably lose everything. No install should take days. Installing OpenBSD on my sparcstation 10 (36mhz processor, 32MB ram, 1GB scsi drive) takes less than an hour...

Get off satellite, it isn't worth it. :vomit;

I got through the storm without losing power.... typing on the machine now... No phone line where I live (middle of nowhere), so satellite is the only option.

Thanks for input n0cmonkey!
