Question about stripping paint off alumunimum...

I have a full suspension mountain bike and I want to strip the paint off the aluminum swing arm and make it a polished aluminum swing arm. Whats the best way to go about it? Do I need to put any coatings on it after the paint is stripped?

I'm not an expert, but I would use a paint stripper then put a clear arylic sealer over the finished alumunimum.

Submerge it in some concentrated Sulfuric Acid, then peel off the label with a plasma cutter or an industrial wheel grinder.

You could try spraying brake cleaner on it, it'll melt the paint off.

I hear over cleaner works well, but I would just get paint stripper.

Get paint remover. Get the part anodized after it's stripped.
