Question about stocking info at buy.com

When a certain product says "On Order", what does that mean?

Someone has to know this. I'm thinking of purchasing something in a couple of minutes but I don't know if I should order cause I don't know if it's in stock or not.

On order mean's its backordered so in other words it's not in stock.
