I currently have setup here a router/DSL modem combo with a switch connected to it and all of the computers are connected to that switch. My LAN IP's are all static.. so each computer here has their own static IP on the router.
what i want to do is setup another router/switch that can be used for visitors so that they don't have to change their IP address settings (keep it set to "obtain IP address automatically").
can i add a router, assign to it a static IP, then have it give each computer that is connected to it its own IP automatically? basically anything connected to that router will share the static IP on the main router?
I have an extra Linksys wireless B (befw11s4) router that i would like to use... so any tips in regards to that router would be great 😀
sorry if this is confusing; thanks in advance for any help 😛
