is there a way to charge up a zero point module (ZPM)?

seems like they always find one that's almost or completely drained. How did the ancients charge up these "batteries"?

You would need to have a power source greater than a ZPM in order to charge it. If they had a power source better than a ZPM then it would make sense just to use that in the first place.

Taken from wikipedia:

A Zero Point Module, abbreviated ZPM, is a fictional device in the Stargate universe. A ZPM is capable of generating immense amounts of energy by utilizing zero point energy which derives from a phenomenon known as the quantum foam (subatomic wormholes opening and closing constantly in and out of subspace). A ZPM contains an artificially created region of spacetime from which this power is drawn. Since this process is thermodynamically irreversible, every ZPM (if used) will eventually reach maximum entropy, at which point it is depleted and can no longer provide power.

Well when you're that damn smart, you can have some leeway. I mean he blew up 3/4 of a solarsystem, he deserves a bit of respect.:p

Besides, it's all about Sheppard and his womanizing ways.;)

Best line in the season, when McKay say "You are like Captian Kirk" after learning Shep got action with the ancient.

1) Go to Atlantis
2) Meet an Ancient
3) Have a picnic
4) ....
5) Profit
