ok, Queen Amidala = Padme right?

But how come in EP3, she referred to the queen as someone else?

I guess in the star wars world, they replace queens like we do presidents, every couple of years? well, we do 4 years, but you know what I mean...

Just watched a short bit of EP2. She is definately a senator. Queen is someone else.

The rules or whatever in the Naboo constitution state that queens can only have 2 terms. Portman was such a good queen that the people voted to amend the constitution. However she rejected her 3rd term and went on to be senator.
