If you get one from out of state.

Does the points get on the record ?

Meaning NJ driver getting a ticket in NY

thanks.

There is a statute of limitations on everything in this country

EXCEPT:

Murder and
NJDMV

It will shgow up on your license. If you got it in NJ. I had a parking ticket in NJ from 1988. Lived 8yrs in england and when I moved from there to Tennessee, I tried to get a license, and guess what showed up almost 9yrs. later....

My license had been suspended cause i never paid it, and I had over $2,000. in court costs, surcharges and stuff.

🙂

I didn't get the ticket, my father got one coming back from long island.

hopefully the points wont show up I highly doubt it tho. I think it wuold be better for him to go to court and get some type of a plea bargain.
