I have a motherboard with a C-Media chip integrated onto it. It comes with a supplied backpanel I/o connector with a SPDIF digital input/output connectors.

My quesiton is how do I hook up my four regular computer speakers to work with this connector. They do not have the standard RCA connections or standard speaker wire connectors, they just have the regular computer-type audio jack.

I have another computer with a creative soundblaster 5.1 with a digital out and that goes to a creative amp that then splits it into four speakers that use speaker wire. I do not want to have to do this, I want to use my standard computer speakers with this computer. Do I need some sort of connector/splitter? I've never worked with this sort of connector before and would appreciate any help/ advice.

If anyone could help me with this problem I'd greatly appreciate it.

It is not possible to hook up your S/PDIF out to computer speakers directly...

You need a S/PDIF decoder to split the signal into it's 6 channels first, before you can hook up the speakers and subwoofer...
