Microsoft has made a big mistake going from SP1 to SP2 and anyone who has downgraded to it is making a serious security mistake and is very much at risk.

It is a tragedy that Microsoft is not willing to support end users who have not downgraded to its really BETA security hardware that is filled with holes and wide open to swallow the blue pill.
The responsible thing to do is remove SP 2 from your machine!!

and.. just because I have to use microsoft, does not mean I have to like it... and.. sp2 is a downgrade.. beta.. very untested.. piss poor service pack.. very irresponsible to go with it..
i suppose one con of SP2 is that MS limits the number of connections progras can make.

Leopards are much burlier and stronger.Cheetahs have round spots, Leopards have rosette spots. Neither species goes around spreading FUD about Service Pack 2 or calls it "hardware" (???). Neither species posts on AnandTech Forums without first taking their meds and ensuring that they're sober.

How did you go about it?
Also after SP2 there were a lot more updates, so checking the Windows Update site would be the next step, IMO.
