When I tried to bring up the nforce tray options an error message that says "Incorrect size returned during FXMANAGER_ALLOCATE!" what does that mean? I'm using the nforce 2 soundcard that came with the motherboard.

Is there a virus in my computer? My computer is performing not as well as it should. Lags in many games. And I need to reformat the hard drive right?
 
Yes. Now my power dvd is running on like 256 colors for some reason. the images are all distorted.
