I'm considering getting a new sound card for my PC... right now I'm using onboard sound, but I miss the features of my old Audigy 2 ZS and the software from Creative that went along with it - mainly the ability to select "What you hear" as a recording source.
My question is, what new Creative Labs soundcard is comparable to the Audigy 2 ZS in terms of quality? I also haven't paid much attention to how sound in games work now with Vista... is EAX still used? If so, what's the current version and is it as nice as it was pre-Vista?
