Question about sound card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829127001

I'm looking at this sound card, and I just want to make sure that it will work for me. I like the digital coax out so that I can easily hook it up to my TV, but I also want to connect it to my Logitech 2.1 system. Obviously, the 2.1 system only has one standard 1/8" plug, but also has a subwoofer. Will this work okay, if I plug that into the "Front output" jack on this card? Or is the signal sent digitally, or will it not send data for the subwoofer?

Or, can anyone recommend a better sound card that will handle this? I'm really not a fan of the X-Fi that has to be installed in a drive bay.

As far as I know every sound card ever created can do 2 channel stereo output to an analog 1/8" jack. Auzentech is supposed to be a very nice up-and-coming brand.

Since they have a dedicated center/subwoofer output on the card, does that mean they have some sort of funky crossover built into the card so it doesn't send bass notes to the Front Output?

you need to quit reading into what you are reading.
Mt advice is first all you should contact the company directly if you have questions even befotr you make your purchase. Most companies will be glad to answer your questions!!

Why ask here when all you will get is speculation and maybe an occasional person who actually knows?

Good Luck

Set stereo in software and you'll output in stereo... the main reason you'd want to get an Auzentech is to get Dolby Digital Live real-time 5.1 encoding to a HT system... and if you're an audiophile you'll replace the OP-AMPs.

The guys over at AVS Forums have plenty of threads on the Auzentech cards, so if you have time to burn take a look 😉

Are there other "normal" sound cards that feature coax digital out along with standard stereo? I'm by no means an audiophile.
