Question about socket 775 backplate assembly

what size thread is on the backplate? i am considering getting thumbscrews to replace the screws that are used. thanx

What backplate? I have plates I use from TT that are not threaded at all, every manufacturer uses different setups and many have depth stops. You'll need to be specific.

I don't recall for sure but I think it's a 6/32. I have one in my kid's box. They are made to run in to the shoulder stops to apply proper tension on the springs. Not something I would change out with a thumbscrew.

Good luck there, locally our lowes had crap for metric fasteners. I had much better luck at the local True Value hardware store. For best fitment, take the backplate with you. 😉
