Question about SLi.

I remember reading an articl about being able to use a 6600GT with a 6800 GT, sorta mix and match. Is this true? Or did I misread?

If it's nVidia's SLI, AFAIK there is NO mixing & matching. Identical cards are required.

From the article posted on anandtech, you can not use a 6600 with a 6800. You have to use 2 of the same card, from the same manufacturer, ie. you couldn't mix an asus 6800gt with a gainward 6800gt. SLI will be disabled if you don't have 2 of the same card.
