Question about SLI and different manufacturer cards

Ok, what Im wondering if SLI will work with an XFX and an MSI 7900GT. Anyone know if either brand has made any changes to the physical shape/ size of the card?

Wondering because I ordered an XFX one, and I can get a really good deal on an MSI one, so Im deciding whether to go for it or not.

If it makes any difference, motherboard is a DFI SLI-DR Expert.

It'll work fine, hopefully the cards has the same clock speed or else the higher card will be forced down to the lower one's speed, but it willl work nonetheless

both will be overclocked anyway, so stock clock speed are irrelevant.... now I gotta find some cash.
