Question about six flags

I live in the Bay Area, but 8 friends and I are going down to Magic Mountain next week. We want to buy season passes, because we're probably going to go again during the summer, and it'll more then pay for itself if we buy the season passes right now. The only problem is with the picture - you have to go to a Six Flags park to get it taken. I went to their website, and the nearest one to me of course is Six Flags Marine World in San Francisco. Their season passes are 55$, while it lists season passes at Six Flags Magic Mountain at 90$ individually. On their website however, it says, if u buy a season pass at Marine World, once activated, it can be used at all theme parks. Does this mean if I buy a season pass at Marine World for 55$, then activate it, I can use that pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain in a week?

Nightmares of long lines and mean crowd control people are still stuck in my head from my last six flags experience many years ago!

Good luck though... Don't they have special offers and discounts sometimes?

It's Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo not San Francisco. 6 Flags bought them a while back. It's not as good as Great America ... too much emphasis on animals for my taste. According to their website, the season pass is valid at any 6 flags world-wide so YES, it should be valid at Magic Mountain. So, you and your 8 friends can get the discounted price of $55/each. The bad thing is, you gotta go to Vallejo to get your pics/passes.

 
i know its in vallejo, i went there 4 years ago when it first opened, i just said SF cuz their website listed it as SF

where do you get discounts for six flags addmissions ( not season passes) before it was on coca-cola cans but not anymore
 
If you buy a season pass at Marine World and activate it at Marine World then yes from that point on you can use it ANY Six Flags park in the world.

You must activate it at the park you purchased it from.

Yep, you must actually go to the park you bought the pass from before you can use it at a different park.
 
For Magic Mountain, I know that if you bring a coke can, it's buy one get one free (basically 50% off for two). They frequently advertise it on the radio.
