Recent events have made me think about what kind of guys shave their legs...I know I do, but that?s for my tattoo (hairy tattoo is nasty, I like the art I cant have it covered my hair). My question is to all guys who read this...Do/Have you shaved your arms/legs/chest or back? Sorry for the weird question, I just want to stop being curious.

Nope.
I would kill the blade before I finished.

One day, far from now, I may go just ahead and pay for elctrolysis on my body.
I would start with my face. Shaving every day is a pain and I know I wont ever want a beard.
Then the lower neck area. Maybe my upper arms if I had money to burn.

How about your buttocks? Shiny, hairless, red baboon ass FTW.

I have to trim my sholders every now and then since the hair on them is longer/darker then the rest of my arm hair. Other then that I only ever shave my face.

If I shaved my legs, it'd be the only hairless part of my body besides the palms of my hands and my tongue. I think it'd look a bit out of place. :p

Ahhhh, but I do not have hair on my butt.

(Am wondering why thats the first thing you thought of. Would Freud have something to say about that, maybe?)

I'm not a very hairy guy (except for my face), so I have never had the need to shave my legs/arms/chest/back. If I had a bunch of hair that made me look like a gorilla or something I wouldn't have a problem shaving any of it.

Nope. Due to the amount of "native American" in my bloodlines, I have a nearly hairless body. I only shave the whiskers off the face...besides, I thought men shaving their bodies was for "metro-sexuals" or gays, not "real men"...

Yet another generalization  I don't have a single gay friend who shaves, in fact, most gay guys I know like their men to have hair. The only people I've known who have shaved their bodies, were in fact, straight and married.

I'm pretty sure those days have passed. Especially since most athletes shave their bodies.

I'm putting my money on half/half for the gay men. A more...feminin gay man would want their men to have hair, to look more masculin, right?

Many professional cyclists shave their legs because it is easier to clean wounds when there is no hair and it is slightly more aerodynamic.

Personally, I have never shaved my legs. I'm no gorilla but it would look weird IMO.

I wouldn't mind having it done to my freakin chest. I have this stupid hair growth pattern on my chest that just looks horrible.

Many? I'd see nearly all. I've never seen an active pro with hairy legs (offseason who knows!). Leg shaving is not that big of a deal and has big benefits for cycling, namely the wound cleaning listed above as well as massage (soooo much easier). IIRC, the aerodynamic benefits are not very significant. Oh and also in the hot mid-season it's much more comfortable to sport shorn legs! You should try it.

All athletes, AFAIK, shave their legs on a regular basis. Helps with sweating, tape sticking, etc.

No and will never do that either. It's just Metro/Gay to do that.

I shave my chest/stomach, but that's about it. Keeping my legs shaved would just be too much of a hassle for me. I do get the occassional stray hair on my shoulder/back, though, so might get some light electrolysis on that at some point.

I thought about it when I was younger and went snowboarding regularly. The pain from the socks and hair twisting could get pretty bad. I stopped snowboarding though, so no longer an issue.

Me and my friend thought that if we shaved our legs and the hair grew back thicker it would give us more testosterone and we would be better at track...lolz
