Question about Service Pack

This might sound stupid but i'll ask it anyways.

When installing a Service Pack on Windows NT it states that you should always reinstall the Service Pack after installing a new program or component.

Now is this the case with Windows 2000?

YES!

it's definitely good practice to re-apply service packs as such. but you only need to do so if you use the "add/remove windows components" option

you do NOT need to re-install service packs after installing a new program

Nope, the System File Protection (PITA BS if you ask me) keeps copies of all the system files in another directory and if one gets overwitten by something it puts the "good" one back.
