I brought a DSL modem (used) from a forum member. He sent it (from US to canada), but it was denied by customs and returned to him.

What should he do in order to make sure it gets through?

thanks for the help.

Why did it get denied?

The normal procedure is "Rape You In The Ass With Duty And Taxes" - not sending the package back.

Documentation? Possibly the seller can get the shipping costs back from Customs.

I am the seller and had my shipping costs refunded to me by fedex. The official reason why it was denied was because i did not have customs forms printed 4 times .

It has already made its way to the USPS and should arrive soon.

Lol. That has got to be the dumbest reason I've ever heard.

That sounds correct. Customs forms are usually in quadruplicate. I just checked some of the UPS forms I keep on my desk.
