Hi, I am considering selling my Wii U Deluxe; Zelda Wind Waker bundle. The Zelda game was a download redeemed using an included code. Same with the Zelda electronic book that also can be obtained with code.

Does anyone know if these two items can be re-downloaded by the new owner once I sell it? I have my Wii U account/avatar info, so I may need to do a factory reset on the device prior to repacking and shipping to the buyer. I suppose this also means the downloaded Zelda game would be wiped from internal storage?

Also, would I need to call Nintendo and arrange a transfer of ownership?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think this will work. Zelda is tied to your NNID account, which is tied to your Wii U console. You can unlink your NNID account from your console (and associate it with a new console) with Nintendo support's help, but I don't think you can transfer games between NNID accounts.

Yeah I doubt Nintendo will let you transfer that. Once you used it, very likely it's gone (well tied to your account) unless you give him your Nintendo account.
