Question about selling MS Office 2000

Some guy in the For Sale forum wants to trade me a copy of Office 2000 Pro for some hardware I have. The Office software is contained in a sealed CD jewel case with a Product Key number shown on the back. No other materials are included.

I'm sure this is origional, never used software since the package is still sealed. The question is what is the protocol for selling this software? Is there suspose to be a COA contained on a book? I understand OEM software requires hardware to be sold with it. True.

Can someone please give me the scoop. I only want to buy fully legal software.
