question about SBG900

I have the SBG900, I just ordered Ooma and as with most VOIP services to get the best quality you need to adjust the QOS. Which this doesn't have. If I were to disable the wireless internally. And hook up a wireless router to it, would I have any problems? I don't want to have to buy a cable modem + a wireless router. Well I don't want to buy anything, but I fear if I don't my VOIP will not sound good at all.

And if anyone wants to recommend a cheap ($30 or less) router that works well with VOIP I'm all ears.
