Question about SATA drivers and Windows XP

I'm getting ready to upgrade my computer. Last time I did this I installed an SATA drive and had to put the motherboard SATA drivers on a floppy so that XP would detect the SATA HDD.

My new board is an Asus P5KC and I am having trouble finding the SATA drivers. The only thing I can find are RAID drivers. Any help would be appreciated.

SATA drivers are native to Win XP sp1 and sp2. You don't have to install anything.

My copy of XP is old. Last time I had to do the F6 thing to install drivers before it would recognize my HDD.

use nlite to slipstream sp2 then you dont have worry
