Question about Sandra memory scores

ok ok.....I realize the Sandra 2004 isnt the best thing to use to find out how good your computer is against others BUT!

I'm running at 142FSB, my memory timings are set to the lowest.

Specs in Sig

My score was:

Int buffered - 2014MB/s
Float Buffered - 1908MB/s

Sandra says a Kt333 with Pc2700 ram at cas 2.5 gets:

Int buffered - 2092MB/s
Float buffered 2014MB/s

Shouldnt my scores be just a little higher since Im running CAS 2 at 142FSB?

"I'm running at 142FSB, my memory timings are set to the lowest."

What's your Tras latency value? As a MINIMUM, Tras should equal CAS+Trcd+2 clock cycles. If Tras value is too low, some fraction of memory transactions fail to reach the memory output buffer before the occurrence of Trp, which means they have to be repeated. These fail/repeat cycles result in reduced memory data throughput/bandwidth.

Try increasing Tras over the range of values from 7 to 12, running Sandra Memory Bandwidth for each Tras value. Most folks find that a Tras value of 11 produces max mem bandwidth.

Hope this helps!

My board must really suck as I can only pick between 6 or 7. Whats weird is if I set it to 6, cpu-z says its at 5 and setting it to 7 makes cpu-z says its 6.
