Question about Retail Warranties: Where to go for Epox Motherboard RMA?

One of my Epox boards recently died on me. And when I purchased it from Newegg, it supposedly has a "one year manufacturer warranty". However, after going through Epox, they state that I need to RMA it with the place of purchase (Read About It), and Newegg Policy doesn't allow RMA's past 30 days. :(

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. :)

Have you tried calling newegg for advice?

LOL, I did the EXACT SAME THING a week ago. Also wrote to Epox and found out that I have to go through Newegg. So I wrote to Newegg and they WILL give you an RMA number. It's only REFUND that you can get up to 30 days. After 30 days, you can only get it exchanged. So I sent the board to them, however, they were out and were not getting any more in stock, so they credited my CC back (I don't know how much because the credit did not appear on my card yet). So don't worry, you'll get at least a replacement :)

BTW, you can do the RMA thing online on their website, they'll give it to you within 24 hours. They are very quick and they notify you when they get your package. Usually, you'll get a replacement the same or the next day. Impressive service indeed.

If the board is defective then the 1 year warranty should be covered by newegg. Once newegg receives the board they will go through epox for repair or replacement. It?s far easier for a company based out of tawain to work with a large distributor like newegg then with every individual user.
