Question about retail version of XP

If you mean Preview Program users, I don't think so,
but I have heard reports of early release parties being set up where people
(dealers and vendor OEMs) might get a good deal to become early adoptors of XP.

People who got signed in as actual Beta Testers should get sent a copy of the
Gold CD as the last build sent out to testers, and as a "thank you" from MS
for helping with formal testing.



 
from the beginning M$ said that no discount would be given.

I think they should give a discount equal to the cost of the prog, but hey, "you can't always get what you want" -Stones.

Um.....I don't know about this "No discount will be given" thing.........I've already received an invitaion to attend a prerelease and they list a copy of XP Pro as one of the items to be received if attending.😉
