Question about Resumes

Hello all. I'm wondering, when you are submitting an electronic resume via e-mail, what do you do with the cover sheet? Do I send in a 2 page PDF /w the cover sheet as page 1, or do I put the "cover sheet" as text in the e-mail, and just send in my resume as normal?

Cover sheet = email text, resume = attachment.

i would send them as two seperate attachments instead.. but i can't imagine it making much difference either way.

Just worried about what either scheme does when they OCR the whole thing for their database

Cover letter may not get scanned for DB.

I usually have multiple cover letters detailing overall background; tailored toward the type of industry.

They are sent with an attachment along with the actual resume
